10 Questions with Capital F.E.M.I

Did you know that Capital F.E.M.I, younger brother to the Ace Comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka both had a Pilot as a Father and none of the two took after him. Find out more:

1.    May we get to know the man -  Capital F.E.M.I?

My full birth name is Olufemi Oladipupo Adeyinka. Born in Lagos originally from Ogun State. A son of a pilot and a lover of music.

2.    When and why did you leave for America?

I left when I was 11 years old to go to school. “Femi goes to school” *winks*

3.    Before you came back to Nigeria, how did you fair music wise in the states and what made u come back?

In the states I was more of a writer and at the same time a road manager for an independent label. (A Records) Came for one reason to make my mark and be part of the growing industry.

4.    Comparing the Nigerian Music industry with that of America, would you say your coming back was a wise decision?

That's yet to be seen still growing, Too  early to judge.

5.    Any role models or people you look up to and would like to work with outside Nigeria?

6.    Any nominations or awards yet?

Was nominated twice in 2 years for the Headies (Hiphop World Awards) 2010 and 2011. In 2011 took home the award for best vocalist male of the year.

7.    What do you do to relax and where is your favourite holiday spot?

Watching movies, Don't have a favourite spot yet. 

8.    Seeing anyone yet, when are we expecting the wedding bells?

Don't wanna talk about my personal life please. 

9.    What are the 3 items you can't do without?

My family, phone and Laptop
