INTERESTING: Woman robs 2 banks in 1 day within 20mins

Two northwest D.C. banks were robbed in a short period of time Monday morning, and police are investigating the possibility that they're related.
Officers responded at 9:13 a.m. to the PNC Bank in the 4200 block of Wisconsin Avenue NW, where a woman reportedly passed a note demanding money, took money and fled on foot.

Another report came in a short time later from the Bank of America in the 3400 block of Connecticut Avenue NW. A woman reportedly entered at 9:28 a.m., asked a teller for clash, claimed she had a gun, took some money and left.
In both robberies, the woman was described as possibly Hispanic with dark hair. She wore dark sunglasses, a black puffy coat, black pants, black leather gloves, a black scarf around her head, a white and black polka dotted scarf around her neck, and white tennis shoes. She also may have had a bandage on her nose or lip, according to the FBI.
It was not immediately clear how much money was stolen.
