Olufunke Aladeojebi, the principal
of a secondary school, who mandated female students of her school to undergo a
virginity test, may undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
PREMIUM TIMES gathered that the Ogun State Ministry of Health
has concluded arrangements to set up a panel to investigate the matter.
The panel, under the supervision of the state’s Medical Board is
to question the principal, whom PREMIUM TIMES gathered, may be required to
undergo a psychiatrist test.
Officials of the Health Ministry said they believe Ms.
Aladeojebi may require a psychiatric test to determine her state of mind. That
will, however, now be determined by the panel.
