7 soldiers lose lives in accident on Abaji-Abuja highway

Seven soldiers reportedly died this afternoon in an accident which involved three vehicles at Awawa on the Abaji-Abuja highway according to Federal Road Safety officials.

The truck conveying the soldiers was said to have been involved in an head-on collision with another truck.

A Toyota 18-seater Hiace bus was also said to be involved in the accident.

It is not clear where the soldiers were heading to when the accident happened.
